We recommend snipping off the end with cable shears (available at your local bike shop, or if you'd like to buy, our favorites are the Felco C7's). You can also grab the very tip of the old cable crimp with pliers and pull. Often it will come right off.

1) Back the set screw out a few turns, and insert cable end all the way into the smaller, unthreaded hole. If your cable end is a little frayed, twist the ends back together in the direction they were originally wound, or cut the frayed end off with cable shears.
2) Tighten the set screw using the long end of the included wrench. As long as you stick to this end of the wrench, it is very hard to over tighten and damage the Cherry threads, so get it good n' tight. Give the Cherry a small tug to make sure it's secure, and go ride!

We ship via USPS, UPS and DHL, typically within 3 business days. Most orders under 1lb. ship USPS First Class, and larger orders go out UPS ground. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking info. When your order is received by the Post Office, we can no longer be responsible for your package and you will have to handle lost delayed, or stolen packages with the shipping provider. We will however do our best to send all pertinent information your way to help you get your package.

You can order a small bag of spares from us, or purchase them from our supplier, Mcmaster-Carr. They are 3mm long stainless, cup point M3x.5mm set screws.

Any and all manufacturer defects are covered. If something is not right, please reach out and we're happy to set you up with what you need.

Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@foragercycles.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at hello@foragercycles.com.
