A Quill Stem Top Cap machined from high-strength 642 Bronze.

Inspired by the gold top caps on old Salsa quill stems, these are a lovely way to spruce up an old Stem. 642 Bronze has similar strength and fatigue resistance compared to the bronze used in fillet brazing - perfect for the higher loads supported by Quill Stem Caps. Works great with Nitto, and just about any other Quill Stem with a removable Top Cap.

Beautiful

This was the final bit of bling on a Riv build, and the top cap is fabulous. It is worth mentioning that this fits Nitto 90-190s and other Nitto faceplater stems (including SimWorks branded/sold). If you have a VO stem, get the slighter larger top cap that Forager produces for VO and that VO sells thru its site.

Lifesaver!

Bought this piece for my old bike. The handlebars wouldn’t stay attached to the front tire and turns out this was the piece that fixed it. Now I can ride my bike again!!
